Joel's paternal side is referred to here as Gottlieb, although it also includes members of the Goldblum, Haber, Horwitz, Resnick and Salavon families. Joel's paternal side was entwined with a family named Biales, who have their own tree below. At this point we know of at least three marriage relationships between Gottlieb and Biales.
Joel's maternal side is referred to here as Mager. There are several families here, including Bailin, Siegel, Willner and Wish.
Diane's maternal family is referred to here as Hansen/Lee. Families here include Aeschlimann, Lawlor, Lee, Marsdale, Ploe, and Taylor.
Diane's paternal family is referred to here as Ristaino.
